TEN LITTLE INDIANS

TLI

THe SHow I am producing right now FOr The Whidbey Playhouse is TEN LITTLE INDIANS. A Murder mystery by Agatha Christie. IT takes place on an Island off the4 coast of Devon, England in the middle 1940's. THere are ten strangers all invited to spend a holiday on this island, and when they all arrive they are told that their hosts would not be there.
Soon a "VOICE" narrates an Indictment accusing all ten of them of murder of someone in their lives.

Soon one of the wooden indians on the mantle falls down and one of the guests dies.
One by one, the indians fall, and one by one following the verse, the guests are murdered. SOon there are only a few left, and it is up to them to discover who REALLY murdered everyone before they too are killed.

Lights out

It is a nail biter from the 1st act, and it leaves the audience in suspense until the very end.

THis was a very hard go. As I have mentioned before. People Ill, egos getting in the way, scheduling conflicts, memory problems, Lighting equipment blowing out. ARRGGHH>

It opened tonight to a 1/2 full house, and hopefully it will fill up after word of it gets around. Our lacal newspaper did not come to press night, so that has really hurt the attendence. However, I am going to invite them to come on Sunday Afternoon, and hopefully get it into the paper before next Wednesday.

Monday and Tuesday is Auditions for the next one, and when this one closes on April 16, I can devote my time to A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM. Then I take a very short break and start all over again next season with the opening show of the season. Blythe Spirit directed by ME!!!
