Been busy

My flash on my camera is all wonky so the colors do not show up like they should, so I putzed with Photoshop to get the hat as close as possible to the correct color. The bedspread is s'posed to be white and the hat is a merled purple Merino and silk blend that Donna spun her little self. I made the hat.
This one is a heavier wool that she spun, and it is a bright orange with a brown silk rose. Notice how GREEN the spread looks after I adjusted the color for the hat.
THis afghan is one I have been working on for awhile. It is from left over scrap yarn, and it is sooooo pretty!! This one I am keeping for ME!! Selfish huh?

I wish I knew where I could take my camera to have the flash fixed so inside shots would show up better. Maybe I should try Kits Camera's huh? It is a Sony, But I don not want to send it to Sony America for repair, and rish it getting lost in the shuffle.

So Rusty, any of them catch your eye? or should I keep trying...

I love them both! Either would look great with her skin coloring. You are an angel for making them. And just think, your needle work will be going to Alaska!

You might be able to get better color if you take the pics outside.

It sounds like you might need those hats to keep warm, they look cosy. The afghan is lovely, but yours always are! Don't ask me about cameras, Rob won't let me near his incase I drop it.

Your handiwork looks great and the colors are intriguing, what your camera does to them. I like the Afghan, too! I'm a Hospice volunteer and yesterday the person I visit had been given a ripple Afghan crocheted in strips of about five really vibrant colors. Mary was so happy to have it. Your Afghan is bright and cheery, too.

It really does look like you've been busy. I'd keep the afghan too if it were mine.

Very nice projects!

I used to crochet afghans and you have inspired me to get out the old yarn. I also crochet nylon net scrubbies. I do not crochet little hats and need them for my bald head. Do you sell yours? Your work looks beautiful!
